Anonymous Messages from Old Bottles
Here are the messages I collected from The Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe on July 2nd. When asked to put anonymous messages in old bottles to send out to the sea this is what the audience came up with.
"May your day be filled with love and creativity always!"
"Let the horses run free & skies will clear!"
"I wish for world peace"
"Have patience. But do not confuse inactivity with patience."
"Faster horses, older whiskey, younger women, more money"
"Freedom from boredom = Living"
"Buzpctzpb k bpnapcb ujxh yerli oj ouj scjuizc"
"All hearts filled with love - no more war"
"Life is one moment. This is IT"
"Peas come in a can"
"The concept of destiny is a construct designed to allow a person a gentle release from the terror of their existance. Embrace your decisions. That & I heart Boobies!!."
"I am bound to ride upon the tide until I'm free" Friday 02 July 2010 Galveston, TX
"There is music in all if men had ears"
"Time is your friend"
"Looking out @ sea is like looking @ the stars in middle of the desert. Their is never a End. Im on a boat everyday." by:Jay
"I am the universe realized to be, to contemplate my existence and what I have discovered is this oh chaotic world... be at peace my lovely soul, all will be good"
"The water & island bring you back to the person you were always meant to be."

A gift!
I was surprised with this lovely box hand made by my musician friend Dan from Kentucky. He modeled it after my song Funeral Pyre. What a wonderful gift from a wonderful person! I love it!
