CD release celebration Sept 15th!!

Run into the Sun

We made a dance remix to this song! I can't wait for you to hear it!
Here are the Lyrics:

You're on a boat out at sea

Iʼm on a mountain climbing

Our paths were once in line, a perfect moment in time

but time moves on

keeps moving along

I blinked my eyes and it was gone

You've come back looking for me

Iʼm far from where I use to be

But weʼll always have that memory of our hearts beating in time

Mountain laurels are blooming

Seasons are changing

Days are getting longer

Skin is getting tougher

and everything is getting older older and older

You can lean on my shoulder, but donʼt you cry

The great unknown is yet to come

Donʼt you let that be worrisome

A new day has just begun

Run into the sun

Each precious moment we hold

in our very hands

We must learn to do what we can

the best that we can

cause we canʼt go back in time

The past has passed us by

but our spirits and our souls will never die

Youʼre on a boat out at sea

Iʼm on a mountain climbing

clouds pass by so quickly

itʼs beginning to rain

as the wind and the waves carry you away

farther and farther away

The great unknown is yet to come

Donʼt you let that be worrisome

A new day has just begun

Run into the sun

Tears of Joy

Tears of Joy

In this pile of earth, one grain of sand

not in the desert or under the sea, but in my hand.

This tiny speck of dirt, this dust, is me

unearthed after centuries.

Exfoliated into light and given life,

given a soul to breathe.

But only for a wink of an eye

a flutter of a hummingbird's wings or a butterfly's

Here I am breathing among paintings and etchings older than time

Remembering the artist's blood in my veins, hands same as mine.

I was a speck of flint on this cliff, then a pebble under this stream.

I remember it all now that I have returned, yet it is all distant memory

As I float gazing at the reflection in the Dordogne

the bridges make a full circle

and the ripples relax my eyes

Hypnotized I realize this moment will never ever return

and life is only passing by

I then think of my love, the grain of sand closest to mine, and I cry

tears of joy.

Dream!

Finding light.

Dreaming is the act of consciously writing your own future. While following your dreams is more rewarding in the end, it often is the rockier road to take. It is easier to go along avoiding your dreams by convincing yourself you are trapped or unable, but you are not. You are alive and everything you could ever want is at your fingertips, if only you would focus and decide in your mind you will.

Joshua Tree, CA

It's worth it, I keep telling myself.

The road may be rockier but the views are breathtaking and the journey is absolutely priceless!

However, we must be equipped and most importantly be wearing the right footwear while we tread. Listen to your intuition on this for we are all on our own paths, all with different terrains.
Mine says,     "No heels; you won't need vanity.
Sturdy; you will need the support.
Not to heavy; to weigh you down.
Not to dainty; with no protection.
Cruelty free materials; for good karma.
and ones which will weather the weather for this will                        be a long haul."

When you do find the right fit for the path you are on, your walk will surely be full of delight!

You may even be barefoot walking on the soft spring grass by then, but first you have to get there.

I will continue to adjust by trying different shoes and paths until one is the perfect match. I refuse to get stuck with uncomfortable shoes on a walk in the wrong direction.

I hope you will too. It makes for a more peaceful world when the people living in it are fulfilled. While we may be uncomfortable for a little while through our trial and error, it is all a learning process towards enlightenment. Also keep in mind that the journey never ends. There is always something else over the next horizon and always room to grow.

Following my dream sent me out California way. Lucky for me I had a few very special people join me along my journey!

Mama on the mountain!

Jet in a Strawberry field.

Jonny by the ocean.

Becca and the Boys in Los Angeles.

Najeeb on the cello.

Playing a set with Jonny at the Honey Comb Lounge in Venice. Now that is a big smile!
